Finding iPhone with IMEI number and serial number

If you misplaced your iPhone in some place like your home, or a friend's or relative's home, you could try going there, calling your iPhone from another phone, and listening for the sound of "ringing".

The only other way to find it would be to look for it the old-fashioned way: by going to where you think that the phone might have been, and searching for it. Obviously, you should only search places that are safe, such as a shopping mall; as opposed to Crime Alley.

If your phone was stolen, and you did not have Find My enabled, there is no way for you to electronically track it, and no way for you to mark it as Lost or to request an Erase. Hopefully you at least were using a passcode which the thieves did not know, to keep them from accessing your data – but the phone itself is gone. If Find My wasn't enabled, the thieves can reset your phone to "make your phone their own." The best you can do in that situation would be to report the theft to the police and to your carrier, and to ask your carrier to blacklist the phone.
