Hi, I have faced difficulty setting up autocorrect function for my macbook pro. I followed the instructions to turn on “Correct spelling automatically" via the path: system settings ->keyboard ->input source-> edit. Yet still nothing works for me. Any insight?
What app are you using? Some apps may have their own autocorrect settings & options that may override the macOS system wide configuration.

Please verify for us that it does not work on Apple apps like Safari, Mail, Messages, Notes, Pages (not just 3rd party stuff like you mentioned). On Apple apps, make sure to go to Edit > Spelling and Grammar and make sure Correct Spelling Automatically is checked.
Does it by chance work if you change the keyboard to US, or change the spelling to US English?
