Does Apple offer Sky Sports F1 broadcast replays?

Go to the F1 page of Apple TV and click on the image below. Scroll to bottom. Sky Sports replay there.

I do not see this option anywhere. I only see them listed as the upcoming broadcast. I’ve searched for Sky replays everywhere. This has ruined everything I watch.

The Apple broadcast is completely unwatchable. I did not know they were not going to have Sky Sports. This is awful. I don’t care about any of the added Apple features. I want to watch what I had with Brundle, Ted and the rest. I watch every week, all weekend including Ted’s Notebook. So now I can’t watch anything. It’s not even fun to watch. I had to turn it off. Formula 1 is what I have been waiting for since last season.

I found the replay by searching "sky sports Australia qualifying replay." I also was not able to find the replay on Apple TV but found it with this search. Click on it and it brings you right to the replay.

It's looking like this is not an Apple TV issue but a Sky Sports F1 issue! I found this tread on the Sky Stream community forums that shows that Sky has had an issue with the replays not being available for a while now. Sometimes they're there and sometimes not!

As far as I'm concerned, this is still an Apple TV issue since I'm not a Sky customer. But, from my calls to Apple it seems they don't have a clue what's going on (as usual).

Apple needs to contact Sky and put pressure on them to get this resolved!

I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but yesterday, before the race I "Added" the Sky race coverage, whatever "adding" means. I'm watching the full Sky Japan race replay now.

I wish we could get all the extra stuff from Ted Kravitz like we used to originally back on ESPN, it was all so much simpler then.

I am able to watch the Sky Sports replay on my smart tv with AppleTV app.

I am not able to watch it on my iPad (10g). Putting the horrendous Apple F1 coverage aside, this is infuriating. I have followed all the troubleshooting steps. I can watch Apple’s awful coverage. I can even see that I have started watching the Sky replay elswhere. When I try to hit the “Full Replay” button, there is no response. Nothing. The “+/checkmark” button will even toggle.

I had the same issue with live SkyTV coverage. The appearance from this experience is that SkyTV coverage is not available on my iPad.

This is the correct answer. Scroll down to the big placard for each race and click on it. The Sky replays ONLY show up there.

I also want an answer to this. If Apple is deciding to restrict access to F1 to their platforms, they risk alienating the entire US F1 fan base by ruining the experience we're all accustomed to. Many of us do NOT like or want Apple products or services. We just want to be able to watch F1 races on broadcast TV like we have been for years, and this honestly makes us despise Apple more.

That search didn't work for me. Just took me to some Aussy Reality shows. If they don't include SykSports replays then I'm done with AppleTV. My Apple tv app will play movies but won't play anything F1. What a Joke!!! Big mistake for F1 to do this deal with Apple.

I have no doubt that this was the correct answer but is not any longer. It seems that about Thursday, March 12th Apple removed it.

Try searching for it again. If you can find it now, please let all of us know!

But, I believe this only works for the actual race. I don't think this will work for the practice sessions nor would we be able to watch the pre-race show or any of the Sky Sport commentary between practice sessions.

It's a good work-around for just the race until Apple figures out how to fix this but it's still an issue and Apple needs to get this fixed ASAP!

Thanks for the update!

But, that's just the audio. Not the video. So all pre/post shows are from the F1 team, not Sky Sports. Otherwise you'd hear audio from one group and the video of different people talking.

If you find a way to get the Sky Sport F1 video and audio that way, I'd love to hear about it.
