My sister is having an issue with her Apple Music on an iPhone SE 3. She connects her headphones, hits play , and it just pauses a second later! She tried disconnecting her headphones and connecting to better WiFi but it still pauses

Airpods/Beats or third party? If third party search how to reset them to factory.
Forget the device in Bluetooth settings, make sure you have no VPN or security or cleanup apps, then try connecting to bluetooth again
Are they connected by lightning socket, and if so are they Apple lightning earphones?
Problems are common with third party phones using third party 3.5 to Lightning adapters.
