I have macbook pro M4
Stuck on the Recovery Assistant because it’s asking you to connect to Wi-Fi or restart, but there is no Wi-Fi option in the menu bar.
And the solution is not working for me!
lucky me. I have another Mac. So I shared internet using usb c cable.
Then try clicking on the empty space where the Wi-Fi icon should be.
If you look closely in the top right corner of the screen you should see a small wi-fi icon.
Click that and you can select a network and sign in to it.
No. There is no icon.

How did this work for you? I tried the same but I still can't get past this part of the Recovery Assistant. Did you do anything in particular?
