MainStage: Tempo increment feature setup unclear

I've been a MainStage (MS) user for more than 15 years. One of the features that was not available in MS for a long, long time was the ability to increment or decrement the tempo in realtime by 1 BPM. This feature was then introduced in MS V3.6.

I am already on MS V4.0, but was not aware of this added feature until recently. However when I read the V3.6 release notes - "Screen control buttons mapped to the Tempo/Tap Tempo action can now increase/decrease current tempo in 1 BPM increments.", it was cryptic and I could not make sense of how to use it. It took me a few days to research, and then finally realised that this feature needed to combine with screen control mapping Range Mode > Increase Value / Decrease Value (introduced in V3.5) to work. Now I have 3 buttons mapped for A) tap tempo, B) +1 BPM and C) -1 BPM, and I am very happy.

I am thankful for the MS development team to add this much needed feature in V3.6. However I feel that some elaboration in the release notes on how to set up screen controls to implement this new feature would have been very helpful to the users (me included, and I consider myself pretty savvy with MS). Would have saved us time solving that cryptic release notes.
