hi gd evening. my MacBook is under limited one year warranty. one day after usage when I opened the screen I found internal damage on the screen. external screen is fine and no sign of any dent or physical damage. I m wondering why this happened and whether it is applicable under limited warranty.

Warranty covers manufacturing defects. It's unlikely the internal damage just happened on its own due to a defect in the screen construction.
You can take it in to Apple for a free diagnostic. If it is found to be from impact they will offer a paid repair you can always decline of course.
If it is found to be an actual defect on the screen, it would likely be covered by the Warranty, but it's hard to fathom a defect would cause visible damage to the screen.
