My Accessibility keyboard is buggy, are there any alternative virtual onscreen keyboards?

Apple updates are good at making software & hardware obsolete, I found the remoteMouse app in the Appstore, so I can type with my iPhone. Apple are investigating the problem so hopefully the next update will fix it. Thanks for the input.

There seem to be quite a few keyboards listed in the App Store. Have you looked at any of them?

Unless you tell us what it is about the current keyboard that you are having problems with or don't like, it's going to be difficult to make recommendations. Conversely, tell us what features you're looking for.
I used the Accessibility keyboard for years without issue, via Hot Corners. After the previous Mac update, the enabled keyboard was causing other applications to malfunction so I stopped using it. Since the current update (Tahoe) it's working again, except it keeps popping up randomly sometimes one over another, I still use it but it's annoying. I want to install a virtual keyboard that works.
I think "keyboard accessibility." I didn't look very closely at any of the options as I'm still not entirely clear what it is you need.
An internet search might net you reviews or more specific instructions.

Yes, I've been answering keyboard questions here for a while, and I don't think there is one at present. Years ago someone had one for downloading, but it stopped working at some MacOS upgrade and I no longer have a copy.

What search terms did you use?
An onscreen mouse keyboard like the Accessibility, finding one for MacOS is harder than you would think, I used Google & Asked AI already. On Windows & Linux they're easy to find.
