iPhone 14: Music app playlist colors makes text unreadable

I tried Settings -- Accessibility -- Display & Text Size -- Toggled Increase Contrast. That changed it back to white for me.

ok it doesn’t fix the problem, but you can try turning on “increase contrast” and “differentiate without colour” in your display and text size from accessibility.

Not only that, the iOS 26.4 update completely messed up dark mode on Apple Music: the fullscreen playlist and album covers either blast eye-hurting white at you or serve up an Android-like pastel barf buffet. I need an "off" toggle now, I feel so sorry I updated! Can't believe you actually shipped this.

I don't want my playlist colours matching anything. I want black text on a white background like before and every time I update a playlist.. boom it changes colour again to whatever song has been added. It makes it impossible to read.

I'd expressed an honest opinion about the update. I did not swear or use strong language but my comment was edited by a moderator because expressing a dislike goes against community standards etc. So trying again. In my opinion the update is not a good one for me personally. I don't want my playlist colours matching anything. I want black text on a white background like before and every time I update a playlist.. boom it changes colour again to whatever song has been added. It makes it impossible to read.
