Widgets on MacBook Air 13-inch M1 are black

My widgets on MacBook Air 13' M1 is black

MY MAC'S WIDGETS ARE COMPLETELY BLACK and I don't know what to do about it. My mac is updated to v26.4. So please, if anyone knows how to deal with this problem I would be extremely grateful. The issue has been persistant since a year now. I have tried out multiple things and even force stopping Finder has not helped as well.

The issue has been persistant since a year now.

Where exactly is this isolated screenshot for some orientation...Control Center, Desktop, stage manager?

Are you in dark mode?

Control Center>Edit Widgets (?)

ref: Use Control Center on Mac

Can you turn Widgets off(?). can you remove all Widgets and then add them back in to compare your results?

Widgets—

Remove widgets from the desktop

On your Mac, click the wallpaper, then choose Edit Widgets.

Click the Remove button for the widget you want to remove.

Add and customize widgets on Mac - Apple Support

Control Click the Desktop to remove widgets stuck on the Desktop

turn off widgets?

ref: Add and customize widgets on Mac

To trouble shoot further you can:

—A SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled temporarily.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

This test will tell you if third party interference; most extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.

*** (if you are using a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries— connect the charging cable, this will make the wired keyboard successful Safe Boot your Mac.)

unplug all non-essential peripherals when testing

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS
