Turns out, if you change your display zoom from Default to Larger Text (Settings - Display & Brightness - Display Zoom) the 3 dots, which allows you to remove passes, disappears

You need to revert back to standard and the 3 dots reappear

Are you in the Wallet app? You cannot get to the app by double clicking side button or going into settings app. Please open the Wallet app by tapping app icon.

If you’re in the app and can’t see the three dots, you’ve changed default settings for your screen/display, fonts and/or text. You’ve zoomed/enlarged your screen or resized or made bold fonts or text.

Please reset to default settings and then restart your iPhone. Please share a screenshot.

Nope. Those cards at the bottom that are hidden are not passes. They are the additional payment methods you have elected not to use for this upcoming transaction that you started by double-clicking the side button.

If you’re really bothered by seeing them, remove all but one payment method from your Wallet.

Ah, you’re correct. It didn’t used to do that. That’s a change introduced at some point in iOS 26.x.x. Very good sberman.

The items displayed at the bottom are now the entire contents of the Wallet app. This includes loyalty card, boarding passes and payment cards too. This still indicates the OP and Ninethings are still in the wrong place and not the Wallet app.

The OP states he can only edit his cards and not the passes. Ninethings says he has expired items and can’t remove them. We’ve still got to get the posters into the Wallet app and then tap the More button and remove the passes/expired items.

OK, I think I can explain these outstanding issues regarding both the OP and Ninethings.

This is based on a false assumption. The OP stated: “When i double click the side button i can see the passes but when i go into the wallet app, i can only view/edit my credit cards but not the passes.” The false assumption is that everything displayed at the bottom when double clicking the side button is a pass. That being incorrect, presumably the real passes are viewable/editable in the Wallet app. If not, you’re right and there is still an outstanding issue.

Ninethings says he has expired items and can’t remove them.

This sounds like a presumption that the extra items seen at the bottom when double clicking the side button must be expired passes. That presumption is incorrect.

The ellipsis (...) should show the Remove Pass option if you have already tapped on a pass to select it first.

It won't have a Remove Pass option if you are just tapping it when seeing all cards and passes in the Wallet App.

If you tap on the ... when viewing all cards and passes it should however offer the option to see all your expired passes that no longer show up on the main Wallet App screen.

Same issue. Passes show up in my wallet when I double click the side button, but when I open the wallet app they are not (and have never been) present. One expired over 2 years ago. I would really like to remove them, but again, the only time they show up is when double clicking the side button. THEY ARE NOT VISIBLE IN THE WALLET APP SETTINGS. Please stop recommending hitting the three dots and removing them.

It’s hard to say what’s actually going on. Ninethings says, same issue, then in all caps says, Wallet app settings. My question is, is he in the Wallet app, or Settings app? If he’s actually in the Wallet app settings,

iPhone > Settings > Apps > Wallet > there are no three dots.

If OP and Ninethings is in,

iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > there are no three dots

But if he’s in,

iPhone > Wallet > there are three dots or correctly the More Button

I’m thinking the passes are boarding passes or train tickets or something, so they’ll appear when double clicking and when in Wallet app. However, double clicking does not open the Wallet app. Double clicking basically initiates the verification and authentication process whether using Apple Pay or boarding a plane. Face ID authenticates the user and prepares available passes, tickets, and payment methods.

Here’s what I think is going on. Ninethings (and likely enn1s) see something like this (as I do) when double clicking the side button.

They mistakenly think that because the first card shown at the bottom is a “pass”, all cards behind it are passes as well. That is incorrect. There is no way to delete all those images of the tops of cards because some of them are additional payment methods.

i understand what you’re saying and respectfully disagree.

Yes, I do agree swiping down on the Visa card does display my other available payment methods.

But note especially the black card whose top is shown toward the rear of the bottom cards displayed. That is my Cash card. I have never had a loyalty card, store card, vaccination record etc. that was that color. Further, tapping on that group of bottom cards reveals this card as well as my other payment methods!
