That's a crock of BS. Imagine having to delete all your emails in order to just delete one email. With that logic in mind I guess all the people who buy Nokia and Motorola phones are shady people then???

Apple seriously needs to fix this issue. A smartphone that can't delete a single call from the call list is more like a d U m bphone instead of a smartphone. They should allow the people that buy their phones the option to delete the calls that they want just like any other phone out there does instead of being some sort of Chinese communist phone that decides what can and can't be deleted for you.

I must admit, this is a feature I have used on previous phones. I agree with a previous poster, the iPhone does seem like a 'Communist phone'! I often want to delete numbers from my call lists but keep certain ones I haven't replied to yet as a kind of 'to do' list - ie numbers I need to call back but haven't yet. I don't want to have to sift through high volumes of missed calls and try to remember who I've called back and who I haven't. This is a useful feature and one that has been on every other handset I've ever owned, barring those made by Apple. It has nothing to do with being shady or up to no good! Really people, stop defending every bum idea that Apple has like they somehow know better. The iPhone is a great handset but there are some extremely useful and even necessary features left off it, for some unknown reason.

It's not an issue that needs to be fixed... it's a feature that is working as intended. If you feel Apple should change the way a feature works then use the link posted above and leave some (intelligent) feedback.

Thanks for the thoughts. The mind boggling thing though is that it must have been intentional as there are not applications available for download where people could freely download such features if required individually. What is odd is that you can find plenty of these applications on the Android market but none on the Itunes store yet calls can be deleted individually on all Android Phones but not so on all Iphones. At times I feel like these Iphones are made for kids so their parents can review everything on there for them lol..

I was wondering why my phone accepted a blocked call the other day from some advertisement company??

You cannot block calls from the iphone. You would have to see if your provider would do this.

When a call appears as blocked in your caller id, it simply means that the person calling has chosen to have their number blocked from caller id.
