I have a pregnant fiancé just got displace from my home and Apple decided to take all the remain money plus some getting. Me charged overdraft the support is a scam to they say they can not do anything about it choices are made by a separate committee they lie to u over the phone to make u wait for the transaction to process they have no concern or regard for their customers I’m a collage student and a I.b.e.w union member nand they chose the worst possible moment to steal from me and used their support service to stall till the money process

Thank you for sharing your concerns, Concerned-member. 😉

First, be sure to ⇢ cancel a subscription.

Then click ▶︎ Request a Refund.

NOTE: Refunds are not guaranteed, they are the exception.

According to Apple:

If your refund is approved, the funds are applied to the same payment method that you used to buy the item.

Here's how long it takes for a refund to appear on your account or statement:

Store credit—It might take up to 48 hours to see the refund in your Apple Account balance.

Mobile phone billing—It might take up to 60 days for the statement to show the refund. Processing time might be affected by your carrier. You can contact your carrier for an update.

Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Apple Cash, and all other payment methods—It might take up to 30 days for the statement to show the refund. If you don't see the refund after 30 days, contact your financial institution.

Note: Once a decision has been made on your refund request, you will get a follow up email from Apple.

Click ▶︎ Check Refund Status.

Final Note: I have written a detailed user-tip on this subject that goes into greater detail.

See ▶︎ Request A Refund for more.

Good luck! 👋🏼😉

You’re definitely not alone. In my own experience, this comes up fairly often with trial subscriptions.

What usually happens is that trials automatically convert to a paid plan (often yearly) if they aren’t cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. It’s handled by Apple’s billing system, but the pricing and terms are set by the app developer.

I understand why it feels misleading, especially if you expected more time. The best next step is to submit a refund request here:

reportaproblem.apple.com

Apple sometimes approves refunds, particularly if it’s your first time or close to the billing date.

Also make sure the subscription is cancelled now under Settings → your name → Subscriptions so it doesn’t renew again.

Did you cancel the trial before it ended, or were you still within the trial period when the charge happened?
