How to disable notifications for a shared calendar on Windows desktop?

How do I shut off "notifications" in a shared calendar I created on my windows desktop? I have notifications turned off on my phone under calendar notifications. This apple feature could not be more annoying. Why does it have to be so much work to turn off notifications I do not want or need?

To shut off notifications for a shared iCloud calendar from a web or Windows desktop environment, go to iCloud Calendar, sign in, right-click (or click the sharing icon next to) the specific shared calendar, select Get Info (or Calendar Information), and check Ignore Alerts or turn off notifications. If you are viewing the calendar through Windows/Outlook, you can also disable the app's notifications directly in Windows Settings.
