Airpods pro 3 Over aid hearing

Good evening everyone,

I have a question for people with hearing loss or hearing aid experience:

Is there a practical way to use AirPods Pro 3 while wearing a hearing aid, especially if the AirPods don’t stay securely in palace

Has anyone successfully used them in this situation? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience, advice, or any solutions that worked for you.

Thank you.

High End Bluetooth-connected Hearing Aida are substantially BETTER than AirPods in practically every way.

I wear Resound Vivia Hearing Aids that are Made For iPhone [connection] (MFI) hearing aids. The iPhone is used both to Control (change volume setting, change modes) and as a sound source.

Using Resound Smart-3D app on my iPhone and/or my Apple Watch, I can change the way they work on demand. I was just streaming a show from the internet a few minutes ago while doing some wood working.

I would never settle for ONLY what AirPods can do.

There is sight-gag that goes along with your hearing test. It's the graph of your specific hearing loss, by frequency. Whatever hearing aids you use, including AirPods hearing aid feature, starts by applying that graph, in reverse, as if you were sliding the sliders on a graphic equalizer.

By contrast, when you say cheap hearings just "boost", that is more like just turning up the Volume knob. All frequencies get the same boost, needed or not. That's a Brute Force solution, and may be too loud for some frequencies, and possibly not loud enough for some frequencies. The 'Holy Grail' all these solutions are chasing is ability to more clearly discern speech, and just higher volume may not do that well enough.

There is even more complexity in some cases. That's why custom-fitted high-end hearing aids can sell for over US$2500. each, with high-touch services included.
