Support ending for Intel based app pop up. Why am I getting this message?

why am i getting intel based apps pop up for Mac or Mac compliant apps ? I am currently running an M3 Max 2024 MBP 16".... Within the past couple of week I have been getting the attached pop ups - the latest when running Adobe. Previously when running the most recent release of Pages in Creator and Excell and/or Word for Mac...

I can see maybe why I get them for the MS products, but my Adobe was from Adobe and Mac compliant and Pages is from Apple and their most recent version of the app. What's causing these pop ups?

Being Mac compliant and being Intel based aren't mutually exclusive.

Older Apps designed for Intel Macs may be perfectly Mac compliant and can currently run fine on Tahoe but are still designed for Intel Macs and will no longer work on the next version of macOS.

Check with Adobe and make sure you have an Apple Silicon native version of the app and all other apps that are issuing this message.

There is something weird about it anyways after deleting rosetta the app still works but :

you will never have the option to open with rosetta
you can get a pop up !

I have no idea how the apps has been made but it's weird...

here is pages w/o rosetta checked - like it was when I got an intel pop up....

here is the Lr app - cloud based ( as far as I know) - that gave me intel pop up too. No rosetta option checked or available. I was led to believe as cloud based, should be Mac compliant....

I don't know why you would get a notification for Pages. I thought you said it didn't have a checkbox. Maybe I misunderstood.

I don't have any Adobe apps except Reader, and that functions normally (Open using Rosetta checkbox).

Adobe is pretty "special" when it comes to their software.

Also, that software might have Intel plugins. Doesn't explain Pages, though.

Could be something affecting your Mac, but I don't know what could cause that.

The fact that I got this popup with Final Cut Pro is crazy ! At least we know that Final Cut Pro will have an update !

I thought FCP is shorthand for Final Cut Pro. Am I wrong? It was mentioned in this thread. Final Cut Pro is Apple’s professional video editing software used by many movie studios.

Another one! If im not mistaken - this version is the cloud based version - so why the pop up? Im beginning to wonder if there is something funky goin on with my machine....

my adobe apps are Mac based compliant or adobe cloud based for Mac….

I found several Universal apps, both Apple and third-party, that do not have the checkbox. They all open without notification.
