MacBook Pro M5 screensaver stutters with ProMotion 120Hz

Same problem here with my MacBook Pro M4 !

But not with every screensaver ! I get it with the Tahoe screensaver when the Tahoe wallpaper is not the current one ! I'm not going to test every screensaver but yeah I can see that some bug only at 120hz !

That's a macOS bug, nothing you can really do for now, just wait that it will be fixed ! Try to find one that works fine !

This seems to be a ProMotion-related bug. Has anyone else experienced this or found a permanent fix without sacrificing 120Hz?

yes there is a known issue.

Set the refresh rate to 60Hz and compare your results.
