iPod shuffle (2nd generation) not recognisable

Hello, everybody, I recently found my old iPod shuffle second generation, and I can play all the songs on it, and it also charges properly. I tried loading onto it, but it just doesn't show up whichever computer I try, I tried an old Mac, Windows, and a new Mac and none of them worked.... I plugged it in once and finally It showed up, and also did a software update..., but it hasn't shown up since. (Even tried iTunes on an old Mac) It can still play all the songs originally had. Can somebody help me? Is it that the USB is C type?

Thanks

It is highly likely that the USB-C adapter or the 3.5mm-to-USB cable is the direct cause of your connection issues.

The iPod Shuffle 2nd Generation uses a specialized 3.5mm headphone jack for both charging and data transfer, but it is notoriously finicky with modern USB standards. Because it can still charge and play songs, your iPod's hardware and battery are actually working fine.
