Mail block doesn’t work

Have a look at Settings > Apps > Mail >Blocked Sender Options. And I still suggest consulting your mail vendor.

Other wise try a forced restart: Force restart iPhone – Apple Support (UK)

and consider doing a full reset/restore Reset iPhone settings to their defaults – Apple Support (UK)

I get a small 🚫 symbol on a blocked contact in the email header. Also, the blocked contacts show up in the blocked list in settings. Are you just missing the symbol, or are they not on the list, or are emails still getting through?

Also, you might want to check with your mail vendor on that function to ensure no conflict between client and server.

What exactly do you mean “doesn’t work”? Can you be a little more specific? What happens when you try?

I’m having to do a little guesswork here since you aren’t providing any detail.

1. Blocking a contact may NOT remove it from your inbox when you blok it. You will need to do that.
2. ”My mail is not on the gmail server”. Does that mean you use gmail, and the mail no longer shows up there after blocking? You don’t use gmail? You need to provide a clearer picture of the issue.
