Printer drivers for Mac Mini M4

My concert band recently purchased a Mac Mini M4 running the most recent version of the Tahoe OS, replacing a 2013 iMac running Catalina OS. The computer is connected via USB to a Ricoh MP 5054 copier. The iMac operated the copier using a generic driver. When connected to the M4 the computer cannot find the printer. Ricoh does not offer a driver that works. Does anyone know of a fix for this situation?

You may be in the market for a new printer/scanner.

If so, focus on one that is AirPrint capable. No drivers. 👍🏽

This is a loooong shot but try the open-source Gutenprint print driver. Check this page to see if your printer is supported: Gutenprint Supported Printers.
