HP printer app on Mac

I am having a problem with the HP(printing app) on my Mac. It has been working fine for two months, through all the updates, etc... Two nights ago I moved my Photos library. The following morning I opened the HP app and clicked on "Print Photos", the window opens however the timer just circles and it never opens to the "Photos" folder.

If I click on "Print Documents" it opens the folder I had moved photos to even thought I moved "Photos" back to the. default in pictures.

I have removed the HP app 6 times, cleared the cache, deleted the printer and re-added it. My last action was to reset the printer system in System Settings. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Where was the library before and where is it now? It MUST be on a volume that is formatted APFS or OS X Extended (journaled).

What model is the printer?

How is it connected to your Mac Mini: by cable or wirelessly?

It could be that the HP app needs the library to be in the Pictures folder. You can try creating a hard link to the library and place it in the Pictures folder (or wherever it was previously) and remove the "symlink" from the resulting filename so that the hard link is the same as the library.

If the above doesn't work move the library back to it's original location, open it there once before using the HP app.
