MacBook Air: 'Out of memory' error saving Word docs

When I try to save word docs on my macbook air, I get this message: "The save failed due to out of memory or disk space." This is new (in the past three days), and I have enough memory and have tried to restart my computer and Word but it still is not working. I can save other files such as PPT with no issues. Help please!

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 14.8

Unfortunately nothing helped on that link. Thanks for the suggestion

How large is these files?

What kind of special items are within these files (tables, pictures, graphs, etc.)?

Are these brand new files you have just created or existing files you are trying to edit?

Where are these files located? And where are you trying to save them?

What happens if you create a new Word document and just type "Hello" in the document & try to save it?

Try booting into Safe Mode to see if you encounter the same issue when saving a Word document.

Are you using the standalone Word app, or using a browser to access the cloud based version Word?
