Hulu on one Apple TV asks for sign-in

I'm been paying for Hulu via Apple for years. Just recently when I access Hulu from AppleTV, or even try to continue watching a show, Hulu is asking me to sign in. This also is only happening on one of my Apple TV boxes. On another Apple TV it works fine. I've tried restarting the Apple TV and deleting and reinstalling the Hulu app. I'm not subscribed to Disney+ but I do have a ESPN+ account which is also paid through Apple.

Your Apple TV box has likely lost its local purchase receipt handshake or has a conflicting user profile state for that specific app.

Fix the Apple ID and App Sync

Check Media & Purchases: On the misbehaving Apple TV, go to Settings > Users & Accounts. Make sure the default user matches the exact Apple ID used to pay for Hulu.
Sign Out of Apple Account: Go to Settings > Users & Accounts > [Your Name], select Sign Out, then sign back in. This forces the Apple TV to refresh its active transaction receipts for third-party billing.
Look for Restore Purchases: Open the Hulu app. If it prompts you to log in or subscribe, look closely for a "Restore Purchases" or "Restore" button (often found near the bottom or inside the login screen) to re-link the Apple-billed status.
