Unable to lower alarm volume sufficiently on iPhone 12 Pro
I'm having an issue with alarm volume being too loud on my iPhone 12 Pro running iOS 26.5 and I haven't been able to find a solution.
The slider in Settings > Sounds & Haptics is set to its lowest position, yet my alarms still sound extremely loud. When I try to turn the volume down using the physical side buttons while an alarm is actively ringing, it either silences the alarm immediately or dismisses it entirely, it does not lower the volume for future alarms.
In the Clock app's sound picker, I can adjust the preview volume upward but cannot reduce it below a certain floor, which is still too loud for my needs.
Is there any way to set the alarm volume lower than this minimum threshold of the Clock app? Or is this a known limitation of iOS?
(I also have both a Focus mode and Silent mode active, but I understand these are intentionally bypassed by the Clock app.)
