iPhone Age Range Sharing button disabled
“Share Age Range Again” button is disabled after selecting “Don’t Share”
Hi,
I’m trying to use an app (Reddit) that requests my age range through Apple’s Age Range Sharing feature.
The first time the prompt appeared, I selected “Don’t Share.” Later I changed my mind and wanted to share my age range instead.
When I go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Age Range Sharing > Reddit, it shows:
Age Range: Not Shared
It says I chose not to share my age range with Reddit.
The “Share Age Range Again” button is greyed out and cannot be tapped.
I’ve already:
- Restarted my iPhone.
- Tried the “Ask Again” option previously, but it never displayed the permission prompt again.
- The Reddit app still cannot receive my age range because it’s stuck as “Not Shared.”
Is this a known iOS bug, or is there a way to reset the permission so Reddit can ask for my age range again?
I’m using an iPhone 17 on the latest version of iOS.
