USB-C adapter for Apple devices in Vietnam?

I have an iPhone 16 an iPad and an Apple Watch. I am traveling to Vietnam. Is there a USB-C adapter that I can use for these items?

My USB-C adapter works in the USA. Is there an adapter that will work in Vietnam?

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26

Would it be correct to assume that you mean a power adapter compatible with USB-C devices? Is this an original Apple adapter? Apple power adapters typically have an input voltage range 100-240 V AC 50-60Hz. You can confirm this by looking at the label/text on the adapter (a magnifying glass may help).

The mains voltage in Vietnam is 220 V AC 50 Hz, but the sockets are different. A passive plug adapter would be needed in order to use a US power adapter. Such plug adapters can often be found locally.

Generally speaking, always check the mains voltage/frequency and the local regulations before using any electric device/appliance in another country.

Some sockets may be different. Other sockets may be of the same type as (or similar to) those used in the United States. In the latter case, an extra passive plug adapter may not be needed.

However, since the AC voltage in Vietnam is 220 V 50 Hz, it is essential that the power adapter can handle this. Again, such information should always be available on the power adapter (label/text).

Another alternative is of course to buy an appropriate power adapter with USB-C locally.
