My MacBook Pro is not accepting my password either not even showing reset option

Have you shut down and restarted the computer?

You can shut it down by pressing and holding the power/Touch ID button until the Mac turns off, about 10 seconds, give or take. The press it to restart again after about 30 seconds.


Are you using the built-in keyboard?

Maybe there's a problem with that. You might consider trying a USB connected keyboard.
