Why must apple charge my card for a subscription I don't use even when I canceled it a day ahead of the due date?

Hello KingxBlair, welcome to the Apple Support Community!

This levy can be explained by two main reasons. First of all, most subscriptions must be canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, if the cancellation is made too close to the due date, the payment request is already sent to your bank. The charge may also correspond to a different subscription or purchase that you can identify on reportaproblem.apple.com. If the billing is linked to this canceled subscription, you can request a refund on this same site. To track the status of your subscriptions or submit your request, do not hesitate to consult the article Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support. Have a nice day :)

Welcome and thank you for reaching out. 🤗

You’re likely still being charged because the subscription wasn’t fully canceled before the next billing cycle.

To resolve this, go to Settings, [your name], select Subscriptions and confirm that your subscription is canceled.

Then, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the charge and request a refund explaining why you canceled the subscription.

If you need more help, contact Apple Support directly.

Good Luck! 👋🏼😉
