Google Maps zooming stutter and unresponsiveness in Safari fix

I've been looking for a fix for this issue and Googling didn't turn up much. There reports are here and here.

So posting it here in case it helps someone also with this problem.

Turning off Allow WebGL for Workers in the Features Flag worked for me. There are other reports that disabling Advanced Tracking and Fingerprinting is also effective, but that reduction in privacy wouldn't be my preference.
