Constant message asking to connect AirPod that is not mine
Insistent message asking to connect AirPod that is not mine. My iPhone and iPad are receiving constant messages to connect, even though I’m using another headphones. How to stop that???

Interesting. If you open Settings > Bluetooth - do you see AirPods listed there with an i in a circle next to it? If you do, tap the i and then delete or remove.

Do you share an Apple Account with anyone else, who might own AirPods?

OK. I'm stumped. Someone within Bluetooth range does have AirPods, but they shouldn't be trying to connect to your devices. I'd reach out to Apple Support. If you're in the US, you can call Apple at: 800-MY-APPLE.
No. My partner is also receiving messages on his iPad.
