Missing the CSA keyboard option for iOS 26 under Canadian Keyboards.

Missing CSA keyboard iOS 26.5 - After the first update to iOS 26, the CSA keyboard disappeared as an option from the choices for Canadian keyboards. As a Quebecker, I type daily in both English and French. The revised option, which involves using the option key, or the other choice - hold down the letter and select one of the options popping up - is super time consuming for anyone who types with more than one finger. It is a nightmare now. And it has rendered my iPad unusable for any meaningful writing.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it back? I have been through all of the offered options and there is no equivalent. The CSA keyboard, once you learned the locations of the accent keys, made it possible to switch back and forth between English and French without having to switch keyboards.

Apple, if you are listening, please restore access to the CSA keyboard option.

It is not available for the onscreen keyboard on my iPad (this one is a few years old, 3rd generation, I think). I was previously unable to find it for the hardware keyboard as well, but I just went and checked again - it is there for the hardware keyboard (I use an external Magic Keyboard) and I have very happily changed it back. When the change first happened, the update automatically changed both the onscreen and hardware keyboards to QWERTY. I was unable to change anything back to CSA. Thanks for pointing it out and making me look again. Really appreciate that!
