Seeking a good surge protector for MacBook

This is exactly why I asked for the OP's definition of "good".

In addition:

• Does it need to be wall mountable
• How many outlets does the OP need
• Does the OP need USB ports included
• Does color matter
• etc., etc. etc.

There are so many variable that would make a surge protector "good" for someone but not so "good" for someone else.

In addition to BobTheFisherman's question, do you:

• Need this surge protector to be portable so you can take it with you when you travel with your MBP?
• Have a price cap that you don't want to go over? For surge protection, you typically get what you pay for. That is: more protection = greater cost.
• Do you reside in an area that has frequent power outages or brown-out?
