Microsoft 365 from Malaysia won't activate in Saudi Arabia

Dear Apple Store Malaysia Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I recently purchased a MacBook from the Apple Store in Malaysia, along with a Microsoft 365 subscription. However, when I tried to redeem the Microsoft 365 product key, I received an error stating that the product can only be used in the country or region where it was purchased.

I would like to highlight that I am currently in Saudi Arabia, and despite purchasing the subscription in Malaysia, I am unable to activate it here. I kindly request your guidance on how to proceed as I am unable to use the product I purchased.

Please let me know if you require any further details or documentation. I appreciate your support in resolving this matter.

Thank you very much.

FWIW, these Apple Support Community forums are peer-to-peer support forums. You are not speaking to Apple here, only other users, and we understand Apple don’t actively participate here.

However, since this is not an Apple product or issue, you will need to contact Microsoft 365 Customer Service and Support - Microsoft Support

Not an Apple issue. You'll need to contact Microsoft support even though they tell you what the issue is.
