Family Sharing Mix-Ups Despite Separate Apple IDs

My daughter and I have separate Apple IDs but share a family account, where I am the organizer. When my daughter Airdrops photos to friends, my name and photo show up as the person sharing, rather than her own. Also, when she gets added to group texts, my phone is sometimes also added in addition to her own. How can we stop this?

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26

One thing comes to mind - check to see that each of the phones has the correct Contact card for that owner. Make sure that at the top of the list in the Contacts app that your name is chosen on your phone as "My Card" and that on your daughter's phone her name is chosen for "My Card" - and that the data in each of these cards is correct.

The thought here is that if, despite having separate Apple Accounts, the two phones might think they are both yours if your name is given as "My Card" for both. I've seen this before.
