I just updated to Tahoe 26.6 and Safari Version 26.6 (21624.4.5.11.5)
Is there any way to stop the Bookmark sidebar in Safari from changing colours?
Settings/tabs/unchecking "show color in tab bar" does not work for the side bar

It doesn’t look like Safari 26.6 has a separate setting for the Bookmark sidebar color. Show color in tab bar only controls the tab bar, so unchecking it won’t necessarily affect the sidebar.
This appears to be part of Safari’s current Tahoe design rather than something you can turn off independently. You can send Apple feedback here: Feedback - Safari - Apple
