Can someone please explain my App Store billing situation with Roblox and YouTube

My account is locked due to a billing problem for a $25 balance. This balance includes two Roblox purchases and a YouTube Premium subscription. I do not want YouTube Premium anymore and I already canceled it. I do not want to pay for something that was supposed to be free right now because the official post date has not even arrived yet. I am happy to pay for the Roblox items, but I want the YouTube charge removed. Is there any way to split this payment or clear the YouTube charge so I can download free apps again:edit: and the top picture are not related, but it still says I have YouTube premium still

Don't forget you should cancel a free trial/subscription at least a day before its start date or renewal. That is what it says on the Approval screen that requires you to double click the side button to accept those terms. I suspect from the screenshots you provided, you did not cancel the Youtube subscription on July 22 as you would have agreed to for the subscription to not renew. So now, you have that subscription and were billed and cancelling after that means it will not renew again, but you still must pay and that subscription expires on August 23 because that is what you were charged for.

It is not possible to cancel a Pending charge, so until that agreed upon amount has been paid, you will not be able to use the App Store any longer. The same is true for the one time purchases for Roblox that were made before your account was eventually locked.

It is also not possible to request a refund on a Pending charge, that would only be possible after you had paid for it and at that time you can request a refund. In most cases all transactions in the App Store are final due to the explicit actions needed on your part to Approve the terms of the transaction, but at times Apple may provide a compassionate refund.

There is no question that it is canceled now and it will not renew again. The charge you see is for when it renewed on July 23rd, which means that one needed to be cancelled on July 22nd or earlier to avoid the renewal charge. Cancelling a subscription prevents it from being renewed, but does not remove a charge that was not cancelled in time. Contact Apple directly and they can verify when it was cancelled.

Thank you for reaching out. 🤗

The ability to complete an app purchase on the App Store requires a functioning payment method.

A payment method is often required to verify your identity, prevent fraud and ensure a streamlined process if you decide to make in-app purchases or purchase paid apps later.

It also helps companies manage age restrictions and regional content availability.

Check your payment method in Settings ➢ [your name] ➢ Payment & Shipping, ensure it’s valid and update if needed. Also, sign out and back into your Apple Account, then try again.

If it still fails, contact Apple Support directly.

Good Luck! 👋🏼😉
