Hi, the most likely cause is a bright light source or reflective surface just out of frame. The cause is an internal reflection inside the lens. It’s what often referred to as flare, but more correctly it’s a ghost image.
The spots are diffuse, not sharp pixels, so this is not dead pixels or a sensor defect. They are colored green/cyan, which is common for flare because lens coatings and sensor stack reflections often bias toward green. The two spots are in different positions but similar appearance, which fits ghost reflections from a bright light source entering the lens at a similar angle.
A bright source reflects between lens elements and the sensor cover glass. The reflection can show up as a green/cyan dot or orb. It often appears in a repeatable place relative to the bright source, which is why you see two spots similar in size and shape.
Look for a lamp, window, LED, or shiny reflection near the scene. Take the same photo from a slightly different angle. Clean the lens, because smudges and oil can make flare worse. Try the 0.5x, 1x, and 3x lenses separately. One lens may typically flare more than another.
The real test to determine if it’s a natural optical phenomenon, hardware issue or software issue is take a photo in a dimly lit room. No light or reflective surfaces in the frame or just outside. Ideally a solid white wall or door is best.
If you see the same green spots in many unrelated photos, including scenes with no bright light sources nearby, then it’s worth checking for lens contamination, protective glass cover interference, or lastly a camera module issue.
