I want to wipe my hard drive in old Mac but don't have a plug and nobody sells them

Erasing using cords borrowed from Apple? You’d have to ask the local Apple folks about that, or you can recycle them at Apple and trust the handling.

If FileVault was enabled, the accessor will need your password. Decommissioning is one of the biggest benefits of FileVault.

MacBook Pro models older than Retina have easily-removable storage, which could be moved to another system and erased there.

You do not say what exact Macs these are(?) As you can imagine they are not all the same

2012 and earlier —if it is a matter of security— take the bottom plate off remove the old drives...

you can plug those old drives into an appropriate enclosure if you want to access the data; or as customary beat them to death with a hammer if you want to destroy them.

Anything past 2012— the drives are surface mounted SSD or apple Proprietary NVMe SSD, some removable some not...

You can easily find a USB-C to MagSafe (1 or 2 depending on the type you need) adapter or cable by searching Amazon. Search for "magsafe 1 to usb-c" or "magsafe 2 to usb-c". Use that to power on the MacBooks to wipe them.

No I did not say that. It depends on the drive you are removing—

there are different flavors of external enclosures that except drives— this is cable connected to you new computer for a look see. Once again it depends on the exact mac, therefore the exact type of drive if it is doable, thus the type of external enclosure that is a match. Can't say more with the lack of details.

Typical 2.5" HDD / SSD or proprietary NVMe SSD. You can search OWC/Macsales if in doubt.
