Migrating data, glitches, and documentation challenges on MacBook Neo

new NEO -

REPLACED MY 1ST GEN IPAD PRO AFTER 10+ YRS

was heavy pc user and apple user for past 25+ yrs + PC for 30yrs before - have heavy mini experience

am having horrible experience!

anxious to hear from other new NEO owners experiences

not having iphone and using best buy are 2 obvious problems - i-cloud , seem idrive problematic - migrating data seems problematic - documentation a problem - NEO technological changes overwhelming glitchy- any good experiences, advice out there??

Macs and iPads use different operating systems


Apple Silicon Macs can run some iPhone and iPad apps, if the app developer permits it. (See: Use iPhone and iPad apps on Mac with Apple silicon - Apple Support). Not all do, and where it is possible to run iPhone and iPad apps, the experience may not be as polished as with apps specifically designed for the Mac.

Thanks. I knew you could use one iPhone or iPad to quickly set up another, but didn't realize that Apple now had tools for setting up a Mac using an iPhone or iPad.
