Unable to verify Australian drivers licence

To fix a failing ID scan during age verification, place your Australian driver's licence flat on a non-reflective dark surface, turn on room lights to remove shadows, clean your camera lens, and hold the phone completely still for up to 30 seconds without looking for a capture box.

-You can confirm your age with a credit card that belongs to you, or by scanning your passport, driver's license, or government-issued ID. Debit cards and gift cards aren't supported.

-If you already have an Apple Account, Apple will check if you have a credit card on file or other eligible methods available to confirm that you're 18 or older.

1) We give similar responses to those you may have already seen because we address each thread starter (in this case SavageAUS) individually and we only know what they know from what they tell us.

Done all that. Doesn’t work. How about fixing the problem and making the system usable instead of just giving us the same instructions over and over.
