Have you tried a different Lightning connector? It could be lint or dust in the charging port too. You could try using a plastic toothpick and gently pry any possible dirt in the port. DO NOT use forced air to try to clean the port as it could embed whatever might be in there deeper. If neither helps, then you'll need to schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and Apple can test the port and if needed explain service options to you.
