.WAV files edits and exports with no quality loss
In FCPX is it possible to edit and change the timing of sections of supplied .wav files and export without any quality loss of the original files?

If you export the audio in an uncompressed format (like wav or aiff) there will be no compression applied and it should sound identical to the source.
Export as WAV again, there's no quality loss. No need for uncompressed audio.
I second Terry's answer and would add that for all general purposes there is no noticeable loss with compressed audio.
By default, wav files are uncompressed audio. Apparently the wav format is able to carry compressed audio but I don't think it's common, or at least I've never knowingly come across it.
