Apple focuses so much on users “ease of use.” But why is the process of having separate lock and home screen wallpapers so unnecessarily convoluted? This seems like a common thing people would do. But multiple people seem to have this same issue. Users shouldn’t have to search what should be a common feature. Apple should make this easier for users.
To create: press and hold on the (active) lock screen, select +, set up the desired new lock screen, select Done, select Customize Home Screen, customize it. Select Done.
Another way to add: Settings > Wallpaper, scroll through to the last and select New, or tap on and select Add New Wallpaper, and select lock and home as preferred.
To change a wallpaper: Settings > Wallpaper, select the particular wallpaper pair to edit, edit lock and home as preferred.
Deleting a wallpaper: press and hold on the lock screen, slide right or left through the existing wallpaper pairs, slide the wallpaper to be deleted upward, and select the trashcan that appears.
