Can't find option to switch from personal iCloud+ Plan to Apple One Family iCloud plan

I have an iCloud+ plan with 2TB of storage. My husband had access via family sharing. He recently signed up for Apple One Premier which also has 2TB of storage plus other stuff. He shared that with me and I cancelled my old iCloud+ subscription (though it wont expire for another month).

For some reason on iOS we both still see the old iCloud+ plan and can't confirm all of our files and everything will swap to the new one.

I saw a help article that said "If a family member is already paying for their own iCloud+ plan, they can choose to switch to your plan or keep their own and still remain part of the family. When they switch to the shared family plan, they get a refund for the remainder of their personal plan." Well, I definitely didn't get a refund when I cancelled the old one. It's still going. The problem is that there is literally NO OPTION anywhere for me to switch. It doesn't even let me.

I'm terrified I'm going to lose all my files and photos.
