Loading MP4 audiobooks permanently onto iPod

I have the latest ipod and I want to load my mp4 audiobooks permanently onto ipod. How can i do this?

First of all, do you have iTunes installed on your computer and have you added the audiobooks to your iTunes Library (are they listed in your Library)?

If the answer to both questions is yes, are the audiobooks listed under the AUdiobook section of your library, or are they under Music? See the screenshots below to help you find the Audiobook section:

Hi there and thanks for getting back to me. I do have Music installed on my laptop. I also have Books. I have not installed my audiobooks in Music. They are in Books and they are in a folder on my desktop. In my folder they look like thisand in my books they look like this

Not sure if can load into Music. It doesn't seem easy at all. I can't drag and drop onto the iPod icon. I've turned off synch as that just wipes everything. However when I do synch, it doesn't synch all books. Just tying me up in knots!
