iTunes won't log in or authorize on Windows 11

Hi. I can log into my Apple account, iCloud etc ok but iTunes won't log in.

Tried to authorise this pc but again cannot log in.

Same on our other PC. Both Windows 11

Date, time, zone windows update and iTunes up to date etc all ok, tried deleting and re-installing iTunes but just the same.

Any clues please.

Windows, Windows 10

Since the same thing happens on both Windows 11 PCs, I’d first rule out the older iTunes sign-in path itself.

Apple now uses the Apple Music app and Apple TV app on Windows for purchases and computer authorization. Try installing Apple Music from the Microsoft Store, sign in there, then click your name > Authorize Machine.

If that works, your Apple Account is fine and the issue is likely limited to iTunes. Apple still keeps iTunes for podcasts and audiobooks, but music and video have moved to the newer Windows apps.
