The easy answer would be to tell you take the phone in to the shop. We're trying to find out whether we can save you from making that trip.
Would you agree that it might be useful to know that your phone does not require a restart to charge wirelessly? That would provide some important clues about where to look to find the real issue so that wired charging will start working again.
If you don't have the ability to test this way, we understand, but we'll know less about your problem.
Did you try the Forced Restart a few times?
When a Forced Restart does not help, that almost always indicates that there is a hardware issue on the phone that will require service at an authorized service shop. If you do take the phone in to the shop, the first thing they will do is perform a Forced Restart. So, if you have not done this, it would be probably be worth your time. Takes less than a minute.
Or, you can wait for another user to answer. They might have a magic wand.
