Pre-installed Logic Pro on iMac not associated with Apple ID

Hello. I bought a new iMac in Germany in 2022. Logic Pro 10.7.4 was pre-installed on the Mac when I received it. (I live in Serboa) I have been using it ever since.

The Logic Pro app is still installed and working, but it is not associated with my Apple Account. It does not appear under Purchased or Hidden Purchases in the App Store, and the App Store now shows the full purchase price instead of an Update button.

I would like to know whether this Logic Pro license was included with the original Mac purchase and, if so, how I can adopt/associate the pre-installed Logic Pro with my Apple Account so I can receive updates. I do not want to purchase Logic Pro again.

Apple provides this guidance for adopting and updating a pre-installed app like Logic Pro:

Did you buy this computer directly from Apple or by way of a retailer?

If through a retailer, that adds a level of complexity to the situation.

Apparently it's been about four years since you bought the computer, and since you do not now live where you bought the computer you will likely have trouble adopting the app, given international market laws, etc.

I cannot advise the best way to resolve your issue, but I can supply these Apple contact routes that you might use to work toward a resolution.
