A LOGO font in Final Cut Pro?

Many years ago when I first started editing video on a computer, I used a program called Pinnacle Reel Time Nitro running on Adobe Premiere. The character generator used with that system was a program called Type Deko. Within that CG program, I could make a custom font and save an image, such as a company logo, to a specific key within that font. I built a custom font with almost all of my often-used logos in that font. That made it very easy to use a client’s logo when editing.

Is it possible to do this in Final Cut Pro?

Another cool reason to make a logo into a font, you can switch it to 3D and add various textures to it, spin it, etc. mO2 did this with SVG images, too, but that product died off...

Is the font installed in your mac? Can you confirm that it works correctly in (for example) TextEdit? If the answer to both questions is yes, then I am sure you can use it in FCP.
