iPhone 13 shuts down unexpectedly with high battery percentage

I am using an iPhone 13, and its Battery Health is currently at 70%.

Apple recommends that you replace the battery when the Battery Health dips under 80%. So, the battery should have been replaced 6-8 months ago or more.

Yes, you can ask the tech to run a diagnostic test if you want, but you already know what the results will be.

About $90-100 (U.S.)

In addition to the advice you're already been given, do NOT delay having the battery replaced. It is way past time to have the battery replaced and with every charge, you run the risk the battery could swell, destroying the phone without any possibility of being repaired. Not to mention it can become a fire hazard. Spend the money or trade it in towards a new iPhone. But do it as soon as you can.

Although the problem is probably caused by a depleted battery, I would still recommend the diagnostic test before you replace the battery. You don't want to spend $100 only to discover that the new battery did not fix the problem and your phone has an additional hardware failure which would cost too much to fix and you need to get a new phone.
